The project benefits from a grant in the amount of €932,351 offered by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through EEA Grants within the Local Development Program administered by the Romanian Social Development Fund (FRDS), as program operator. The objective of the project is to increase social inclusion and the impact of support measures addressed to vulnerable Roma communities. The intervention aims to improve the socio-educational level for 387 children and young people and 688 adults by developing and providing for 20 months a package of socio-educational services that will contribute to increasing the level of empowerment as well as increasing the quality of the educational process and of school performance. 

The project financed by the SEE Grants 2014-2021 within the program "Local development, poverty reduction and increasing the inclusion of Roma", by the Romanian Social Development Fund - Program Operator is implemented in the Municipality of Târnăveni, in the commune of Zagăr and in the commune of Viișoara by the Buckner Foundation in partnership with the Town Hall of Târnăveni Municipality and the Town Hall of Zagăr Municipality and in collaboration with the Town Hall of Viișoara Municipality, and with the educational units: Secondary School no. 3, Vasile Moldovan Secondary School, Technological High School and "Constantin Brâncusi" Technological High School in the Municipality of Târnăveni.

"Social phenomena are increasing more and more and we at Child Protective services are seeing their effects. This project, implemented by competent and serious partners and collaborators, with integrated intervention for the benefit of children and families in a vulnerable situation from the marginalized communities of Mureș county, comes with targeted responses to specific needs, and thus we are convinced that the following activities and actions to be carried out will have an impact and results in measure that will improve the standard of living and the level of awareness of the beneficiaries."
